By championing the Jong races, especially the iconic Selatan Jong Race, and integrating them into a dynamic cultural arts experience at the Teluk Bakau Jong School Planet Samudra Café, we breathe new life into a treasured maritime legacy.

About the Organiser – Teluk Bakau Jong School

The Jong School ‘’Sekapur Sirih’’ was founded by Zakir and Michel Lippitsch to fulfil the need for a platform dedicated to teaching and learning the art of racing Jong, particularly aimed at nurturing the next generation of players, the children.

The first of its kind allows anyone interested in traditional maritime practices to receive tuition and gain firsthand experience.
